I had a cake recipe like that. It involved making 3 layers and splitting all of them in half. When the whole thing was finished it was beautiful and tasted great. But it was just too much effort - not to mention a 6 layer cake is a dickens to cut and serve!!
Excellent brain work out! Only took me two tries and still took me forever. Now that brain is up and working.....going to work on taxes!!!
