I work at a camp in the kitchen. At camp we have from tent to cabin to RV's. It is a pleasure to go there and work even at my age. (72) My son the head cook and I his 2nd cook is me. I was dishes, clean up the kitchen and serve food. So many things happen day in and out that it is never boring. Great for tiring you out so can sleep well.

I have never slept in a tent or gone camping, but I think I could do it in a cabin.....which probably isn't really "camping"! Have a lovely day and may it be rich in friendship, kindness, joy, and much love to fill your day in blessings.

These days people go "glamping" instead of "camping". That means nice cabins or RVs instead of tents. Even at my age I could do that! I have done lots of tent camping over my lifetime, though. Starting as a child until I was about age 50. Don't wish to do that now, though.

Lived in a tent for many years and have NO wish to camp, although a cabin is nice.

My whole childhood my parents would take us camping for week in a trailer. The only thing was, my dad MADE the trailer...out of wood!

This reminds me of a motel of cabins we stayed in when I was a pre-teen. We were on our way to Canada and it was pouring rain in Vermont. The entire property was flooded and we had to put our luggage on our heads and wade to the front door of our cabin.We spent the evening playing cards while our clothes were draped all over the place drying.

I slept in a tent that was set up in our back yard. ONE night the entire family were going to sleep in this tent. Didn't listen to the weatherman and the heavens opened up and wind was blowing so strong, that the tent got soaked and must not have been secure. It blew to other end of the property. Needless to say, all of us ran back into the house to our own bedrooms. 1st and last time any of us ever wanted to sleep in any tent ever again. Nice experience. I too prefer hotels and nice motels on vacations.
