The last time I was on a float was at my sister's house in Chicago. She had an above ground pool and we floated for quite awhile in it. Years and years ago.
I did it in the "sort-of" form of an advertisement ---- offering two spaces (the pool floats) in the pool for solitude, peace, rest, meditation --- or whatever. Thanks for asking!
