Worked this puzzle again. This little owl is so precious. Hope it hangs out with other little owls its size. It's marked so pretty. Would love to hold the little tike. :)
It's hard to judge the perspective in this photo but somehow he looks very small, tinier than I thought they come...so I googled them. Indeed they are classed as a miniature owl, about 7 in long, weighing only 2 to 2 1/2 oz. They have an impressive wingspan of 19 in though. See how educational this site is? And what fun!

Now this is a good picture, lovely birds the owls are, up in the dales not far from our house there is a sanctuary where they have all different kinds of owls and they encourager the young ones to hold and explain all about the owls, yes they give them the right attire so the children do not come to any harm, well worth a visit.
