Love these horses. Does anyone else see the man's foot and leg behind the horses. The men had to work as hard as the horses if not more so. The weather here today is cool and bright sunlight. May go out and work outside for a bit today.

Yes, he's walking to the right of the horses, to avoid SOME of the dust. Sometimes the worker is female...like me. If he had waited much longer, he would have had to used the plow, instead of that cultivator. I was so glad when we got a tractor!!!

By the way, the man in this puzzle would have probably been on this side, if the wind was blowing toward the right. I just hate it for knowing so much about this.

I don't see any legs or feet but horses' hoofs and legs. Whoever has the guiding reins is well to the right of the photo.

People who used to live around the block from us had a couple of those. Saw them out in the pasture but never saw them working.

Are these Clydesdales or Morgans? They are beautiful.

I don't know either, but they sure remind me of Budweiser!
Those were the best commercials I've ever seen.

Maybe you're right. I thought they were Clydesdales. I used to get to stay up to watch the Budweiser wagon being pulled by a bunch of Clydesdales at the beginning of some show that was past my bedtime.

Majestic, apparently healthy work horses. The Amish farmers in our upstate NY counties use this type of horse to plow their fields. Their horses aren't as robust or healthy looking.

In Colorado with a group of 16 on a trip we organized --- we were in two covered wagons going into the back country for a BBQ dinner in a clearing. A young lady was driving our wagon with two horses much like these two. My husband, Bill, and I were seated on one side directly behind the driver. All of a sudden she called, "Step it up, Bill.!
Step it up, Bill! " (to one of the horses.) We couldn't stop laughing. For the rest of the 3 week trip we heard, "Step it up, Bill! " My Bill enjoyed it!

What a great story and memory! My husband's name was Bob, so we had some good laughs over things people said. One day, not too long after he passed away, I was wearing a sweatshirt that had a big red heart and read "I love Bob." On my way to the car, I heard "well, thank you! " lol Another Bob took it personally. I have laughed several times over that one.
