Do you remember where you were? I lived in AK 43 years and just may know the place.

I don't think this is the same lodge, just reminded me. We were near Seward on the river. My sisters just returned from a month long camper journey on the ALCAN highway. Gorgeous.

I know the place in Seward - it's not quite as luxurious outside as this, but it's a step above bed, roof and doorknobs that identifies most Alaskan lodges as luxury...glad you enjoyed your visit.
