Since it is in the 90's here now thought this might cool it off for me.

Happy New Year to all! We have all the snow that fell the day after Christmas and this past Saturday. It's 22 F outside and going into the teens tonight.

Hi folks, well one day of 2013 almost gone already, before we know it, it will be Christmas again. This is a beautiful picture and with the humidity at almost 70% tonight, it is lovely and cooling. Thanks C4J you've done it again!

Here it is 2013 barely, clear and cold this morning. Temp is about 15. And a full moon. Beautful. Wonder what this year will bring. Each day is a experience never to be repeated. Have a good new year, everyone. And enjoy this puzzle.

It is now 8 hrs into 2013 where I am and also very cold but cloudy.
Yes, we have a clean slate to wite our 2013 story and no matter what outside forces happen to add to our story, we still have the control over how we choose to use whatever happens.

I agree. I can choose in how I respond to circunstances. And I do choose to be happy and not take things too seriously. Life is good today.

I, too, Maxine, used to love the winter with sledding, skating, tobagganing and such. However, I am well into my 6th decade and the glow of winter activities has faded considerably. Nevertheless, we see some glorious sights up here on the flat, flat Red River Valley of the North in the winter.

Hi Neighbor!! I'm from Minot....this scene sure looks familiar, don't it? You are seeing the only river in the USA that flows from south to north, as far as I know...

Looks so picturesque, like a painting, I did the oval (circle) cut and it also looks like an oval ceramic tile, what beauty...

When I was18 I lived where winters were just like this, and I was young enough to enioy them. Now I am old and dislike snow immensely.

This picture could have been taken where I live. We finally got quite a bit of snow. Today the snow is sparkly and light and fluffy. If you go outside with a dark coat on you can see each individual snowflake that falls on your coat. It is so amazing! We are in a winter wonderland like sunsetsky and very cold outside but not as cold as it typically is this time of year....usually below zero farenheit! Have a great day everyone as we begin the new year 2013!
