I'm wondering....are the flowers iced, real or fake. Really can't tell, as they look so perfect. The white of the cake is beautiful in and of itself. A work of art!
Looks like an Easter Bonnet. Today is my twins birthday. They are only 53 years old. That doesn't make me old, does it? Seems like I was just 53 last year. Time is sure flying, isn't it. hahaha
I know what you mean sherrybee-we have a daughter 53 and one 50 and I look at them and think where did the time go. I look in the mirror and I am so shocked because I don't feel that old. LOL

I turned 50 first and asked my father if he felt old yet. He admitted that it was a shock but not yet. Then when my brother turned 50, 2 years later, I asked him and it was a definite yes! But to all the parents on here, thank you! I'm a 53 year old and so thankful that at least I know a few words like courtesy and respect which seems sadly lacking nowadays. Gah, now I sound old lol

Not my (probably old-fashioned) idea of a "wedding" cake with black trim. I've heard it it said these days, however, that it is "whatever floats your boat"! Is the top layer offset? Maybe it is supposed to be a hat?
