If you ever have a fish pond with koi in it forget about plants. The koi will actually pull them out of their containers and eat them. We learned after having lost several nice water lilies. :\
Lovely water lilies in a water color painting. Just thought it was a photograph at first. Really good depth of color and realism made for a great puzzle.
Love the coloring in this painting. A neighbor near our beach cottage had a lily pond. Of course it's no longer there. It got demolished in the 1954 hurricane Carol including my grandparents beach cottage.
