I can't understand how anyone can do any puzzle even 6 piece ( which I do most of the time) in.03 sec! My fastest is today...09 sec! God Bless the those that are so QUICK!

Why would anyone want to do one so quickly? If you are timing yourself and trying to beat records, good for you. I just enjoy working the puzzle. I don't care how long it takes. I used to buy 2000 piece puzzles and set up the card table. Every time we walked by, my 8 year old daughter or I would see another piece. It would take us all winter to finish but what fun we had!

I usually do 48 classic. I used to love to do puzzles on a card table--before computer and this site. Can't do regular puzzles now. One of my cats would love to have fun jumping on the card table--and therefore pieces all over the place. Now all I have is one of my cats will sometimes sit in front of my keyboard while I am doing one of these.

Pjshop, does your daughter still like to work puzzles?

Yes, she loves them. We learned to be careful to not drop a piece on the floor. The dog would snap it up and chew on it. I think it was the paste between the pic and the cardboard she liked.

Lol We had a dog that would do the same thing! She'd even chew on Scrabble tiles.

That's pretty interesting. The only walled city I have been in is Luxembourg, the capital of Luxembourg. And the only Toledo I've been in is in Ohio.

My Toledo, Ohio experience lasted for the length of time it takes to drive through it.

Not exactly like losing out on visiting Spain. Some places are only worth a drive-thru. What place did you visit that you liked best?

I really liked Washington, although I have only spent a weekend in New York. I would like to go back to Paris - there's just too much to see there.

I visited DC twice and really liked it but that was because of all the wonderful museums and memorials. There are plenty of excellent art museums there as well as natural history. If you love gardens next time you are in NY take a little sideways hop to the Brooklyn botanical. It's better than the one in the Bronx and it has a wonderful museum next to it. But if you go to the Bronx pick up the Cloisters, the botanical garden and the zoo.
I've never been to mainland Europe. The art museums and architecture must be fabulous.

I really like doing puzzles like this one. Castles, cathedrals. mosques and the like intrigue me.

God bless you all and may He keep you safe in your castle (home).

I belong to a Cathedral, built in the 1860s although the parish was founded on the banks of the Missouri R. in 1845. Gorgeous building; I can't imagine raising that kind of money for such a beautiful building back then.

Someone told me that if I could color I could paint. Now I have to say I can paint instead of I wish I could paint. The only thing is, someone else has to draw before I can paint!

Drawing is just practice - practicie looking hard; remembering accurately. If you have a good handwriting you probably have more inate drawing talent than I do. ;-)

Wonderful history.

"One of the things I learned the hard way was that it doesn't pay to get discouraged. Keeping busy and making optimism a way of life can restore your faith in yourself." Lucille Ball

"Few things in the world are more powerful than a positive push. A smile. A world of optimism and hope. A 'you can do it' when things are tough." Richard M. DeVos

God bless you and take care. Hugs.

It's so easy to do what DeVos suggests yet so few do it. I wonder why. Well here's for you, Aussie--Keep up the quotes and stuff. You brighten everybody's day. Good show!!!

I'm with pixi. I appreciate your quotes and the time you take to find just the right ones. They are most often both relevant and uplifting. God bless and hugs back to you.
