They need to give it some TLC. Or are they going to let it rust in piece. One on its "eyes" needs a transplant also.

Yes, it's a VW bus, after 1967. The busses from 1967 and before had a white kind of a wide "V" shape, soaring bird wings shape below the windshield.

My family had a 1969 VW bus that died when the oil line came loose, which caused the engine to catch fire from the oil being sprayed on the engine. It had over 160, 000 miles and had been in 6 accidents.

I've heard that Volkswagen is super strict about their trademarks showing in images for sale, so it's possible the VW on the front was really missing, or it could have been obiliterated in photo editing.
That vehicle is one from my era. I remember them well. I like the term "vintage". Think I will claim it for myself. I am vintage woman. Not elderly or old, vintage. Sounds much better, don't you think?
