I found myself working from the center out on this one. It's a pretty plant with quite a decorative holder.

I'm a big plant person, but alas, I can easily kill an air fern. Most of the plants I have now, are artificial.

Mystery this time. No live plants or even artificial where Cleo can get to them. She is my only cat that loves to chew on any plant--live or plastic!

This reminds ;me of my mother. She had all kinds of potted plants in her house and could make anything grow. I think a lot of it had to do with she waited till all of us kids grew up and left home!

That plant is an emerald ripple peperomia. My ex-sister-in-law's mother gave me one as a housewarming gift when we bought our first home.I promptly killed it. Not on purpose. I read all of the instructions, but have no luck with potted plants. I even killed the cactus that my mother gave me. Outdoor plants are another story. I planted two 4" pots of lavender 2 years ago and now it's taken over my front yard. I was trying to grow an avocado tree in a pot and found a stick to prop it up. The avocado, of course died, but the stick sprouted and turns out it was from a twig that had fallen off of one of my trees.

Good story fropo lol (re the stick growing). My best friend is an expert grower of African Violets, and every Christmas she gives me one which I manage to kill. However the one she gave me last Christmas is thriving in spite of being knocked off the shelf during cyclone Debbie. It now has four flowers on it, much to my surprise and one of the leaves got broken off and I put it in another pot and lo and behold, I now have two healthy plants growing from that one leaf!! It's a miracle woohoo. Hugs.

I'm wondering what kind of plant this is?

I like the plant. Plants can be calming and soothing. I also like the pot it is in. The bell next to it, not so much. It is an interesting contrast.

Yeah but I can think of a plant you wouldn't want near your pets. The Oleander plant - it's a heart stimulant and will kill your pet. There was a woman on the news saying she let hers out. Within 45 min. her dog eat part of it - she rushed it to the ER vet and it died.

Ohhh! I am so sorry to hear that! Fortunately, there isn't any oleander plants around here!

I always thought plants were soothing and calming as well. Even certain foods are forbidden to dogs. We just picked up our puppy tonight from the trainer. Ugh! Then I hear being said to moi "You need to be quiet and listen". Then I'm told "Oh your being defensive". I wasn't defensive and this persons wife was arguing with me. Then I said oh I saw you on Facebook. I saw the photo of her - then I was laughing and she says yeah what's so funny. It's the look on her face to the camera.....lol

Did this in 127 hexagon and it took me a very long time. Don't know what possessed me to even try it that way. Anyway, I did finally get it done.

God bless you all.
