Knew someone who could do remarkable work with crochet. Hubby goes in for surgery in a few weeks.

He has a pacemaker and he needed his battery changed. Then the doc put him on a new drug which caused his potassium level too high. High levels of potassium can cause cardiac arrest. This is why he was sent to the ER and admitted. I suggested that he seek immediate medical care. He has kidney issues as well. Thanks.

His aunt just had heart surgery - cornorary angioplasty. She didn't ask any questions. His mother needs heart surgery too - but puts it off. His mother's condition is worse. Then she tells people that she's fine.

Oh dear. you can't mess around with heart issues! my brother had a pacemaker put in at age 36! luckily, he is a paramedic & knew something wasn't right. he's 58 now & does very well...ever hikes with friends! your MIL needs to get looked at ASAP! it could be something relatively minor &fixable. good luck & keep me informed!
This looks like something I used to do with plastic canvas. It's a lot like cross stitch. I use to do that too, and made my mom a couple of things that she thought were terrific.
Don't know why it was so hard to follow that pattern, but it definitely was.
I haven't commented the last couple of days. Just too tired, I guess. And the weather has my fibro and allergies stirring up. I must not have been a very good girl because Santa didn't bring me a premium membership to c4j. Of course, I might have had a greater chance of that if there really was a Santa Claus.

Yeah, me too. I enjoy what I have right now so much I am not going to give it up because I can't have the biggest and best. I'll get it some day. I'm just afraid that when I do I'll have so many choices I will never be able to make up my mind which cut to use.

Hard puzzle. I have a friend original from Sweden and she does the most intricate embroidery work, all done in cream thread on a cream background with a series of knots. It is just so beautiful and I am sure someone on here knows what it is called.

It's been awhile since working a jigsaw puzzle, but I thought I'd come back to give it another go.
Red and black aren't my favorite design colors, but I do appreciate the intricacy of this design., Embroidery is very time consuming and requires a lot of patience, not to mention delicate finger dexterity.

Your friends embroidery is possibly "White work" the material and the silk are the same colour and it is beautiful.
