I like seeing how different their patterns are to each other! I looked it up and zebras have black skin under the stripes. As to why they have black and white stripes, "...The basic idea is that black stripes would absorb heat in the morning and warm up zebras, whereas white stripes reflect light more and could thus help cool zebras as they graze for hours in the blazing sun." Fun to know!

Send some our way. Had a downpour of 5 minutes today and sun now out. Grass is getting brown. We can only water twice a week.

I love doing thees puzzles
I fell in Oct. and broke my right shoulder and had to have surgery on it
I have had a bad winter but doing puzzles has helped
i can use the right arm much better and am staying by myself again
I am 85 and I thank God for every blessing
I am so slow at gettting the puzzles together
forgive me I didn't mean to write a book

Dbnc2 - It was a very interesting "book" and I am sure many people got a blessing out of it as I did. God bless.

If you write a book, I'll be happy to read it. You must have a treasure trove of stories to tell! These puzzles have been a blessing since I discovered them last year; they're a wonderful way to add some spice to the day or ease the mind before bedtime. Now that I've retired, I'm tutoring 3 children and have them hooked on working the 48 state puzzle cut. They want to beat my speed so keep practicing each day...and are inching up on my time. They're beginning to ask questions about US history so the puzzles are a great motivator. May you have a warm Spring filled with the joys of nature as fireflies begin to dance to the chorus of frogs and crickets harmonizing each evening. : ) Many thanks to the crazy4jigsaw folks.

I only do small puzzles not over 50 pieces, most times less than that. Prayer for my grandson's girl friend surgery Monday and my sister surgery Tuesday.

Wow drawback, that's more than I can do! A friend in high school put together a round puzzle about 15"...just one solid color of red...and yes, I still think he was crazy! ;-)
