I've never visited a tropical island. I saw photos of Puerto Rico before and after hurricane Maria and it broke my heart to see such a gorgeous place destroyed. One would think anyone with lots of money would see what a gem it is and rush in to fix it up if for nothing else as a tourist destination. But just like New Orleans, it is left to languish with insufficient funds to get the job done.
Let's pray that people with the means to save beautiful places will be called by God to do so.
