Yahoo...just got my Passport renewed. The state where I live is requiring that people get a special ID or passport for air travel.

Hi, I just wanted to give you all an update on my husband. If you remember he had an ugly fall that broke a bone in his leg, ankle, and foot. He got an infection in the ankle and had to be hospitalized. Well, he got another infection in the picc line in his chest. It went all through his body and started problems. Cutting the long version to the short.....his lungs were showing that he had pulmonary fibrosis. His lungs were working at maybe 1/4 of a normal pair of lungs. The doctors laid out what would happen to his lungs and his life. He chose to not go the way of a nebulizer and chose meds to help with the breathing problems and panic when he would not be able to breathe well. He died this morning without pain or fear. Please keep him and me in your prayers. We got a chance this past weekend to just be together and talk about our love and our life together. It was beautiful and that is what I will remember about his last days.

Oh nhoward, So sorry to hear about your husband passing. I'm sending prayers to you right now. After all he went through with his leg and then this. Was this caused from his fall and they just didn't catch it? I am glad he was in no pain and fear. It was nice to have that time with him. I know he is in peace now. "God, Give nhoward the strength and peace she needs right now."

When he got the new infection, it just went all over his body. I asked why all these problems were now coming out and that is what they said. They also found out that he didn't just have COPD, he had pulmonary fibrosis. I saw his x-rays, and his lungs were only working 25%-30% and that wasn't going to improve, only get worse. Pete and I talked and he said he did not want to die slowly and have to be sedated on a machine that was going to breathe for him. So they kept him comfortable and he died peacefully and with no pain. He died peacefully in his sleep. I couldn't ask for more.

Interesting puzzle. It might be hard to decide with all those things out there.

Used to do this in my younger years--not anymore. Have not been feeling well for about 2 weeks--now it just seems to be a head cold and lots of phlem coming up. Gotta get better. I usually am NEVER sick.

My wife and I had a map for our travel planning last year. Every traveler needs one. Very good puzzle.

I agree. In spite of GPS being almost everywhere, you need a paper map "just in case".
