I finked out on this one and picked a small puzzle cut. Didn't want to over use my eyesight as I'm into a good book that I'll be reading in bed tonight...like real soon! LOL

This was harder than it looked. My favorite cut is the 220 Diamonds and thats which one I did this in. Never did projects with beads as a youngster and since three of my four grandchildren were boys...well..usually just stepped on their legos! Ha Ha.

Just as hard the second time around...and the boys whose legos I stepped on once upon a time, are now all grown up and in college. God bless them.

Fourth day of VBS! Still early, will be going back to bed soon. Yesterday was AWESOME! Five children received the Holy Ghost! Very exciting! And we did tie-dyed T-shirts, something I haven't done since Girl Scouts in the 1960s!

And, Pony Beads! My granddaughter just made a beady baby the other day (just before VBS started - haven't had much time for additional crafts at home this week)!

Sounds like fun. Congratulations to those kids who received the Lord as their Lord and Savior. My sister does a carnival land bonfire every year called "Christian Youth Ministries". it is a lot of fun for the kids to learn about the Lord and each year there is a guest minister who speaks to the kids. After the games and food there is a huge bonfire that is lit and the we all sit around it and sing songs and worship the Lord. Every year at least 3-5 kids will accept the Lord as their Savior. A lot of fun and work is put into these events but it is well worth it if even one kid comes forward. I cannot wait until October 12th. That is our next event. Praise God and all He does.

VBS is Vacation Bible School. As part of a charismatic group I got involved one summer. I had no kids and my only experience was with my younger brother. They gave me the littlest ones who had never been out of the house. I had helpers and been trained that this was to be nothing but fun for the kids. On day 3 no helpers showed and the the plan is to have all the kids switch from one activity to another at the same time about every fifteen minutes. Ever try to get 15-20 three and four year olds to do that? I finally yelled at them and they heard me everywhere and came running like I had lost my mind. I saw that some kids were a bit unnerved but not the "naughty" ones so in getting them ready to go to lunch I had them line up individually and told each of the tractable kids "okay, you have been good today. You can line up, " and kept the trouble makers till last. Until I did that every morning when the parents were going to drop their kids off they would grab hold of them and cry. After I did that they all came in calm and good as gold. Of course that is the only time I have ever done VBS.

Jajac VBS stands for Vacation Bible School. Kids go every day for a week just like school either in the morning or the afternoon. They do crafts, listen to bible stories and memorize scriptures. They have snacks and play games. Gives them something to look forward to. Some kids go to 2 or 3 different churches with different friends. It inspires community and keeps the kids busy and out of trouble.

In our church they teach that we have to make sure that Jesus accepts us, by following His plan of salvation and living for Him! That's how He becomes our Savior!

The word "baby" connected to "beads" put me on guard. This may sound silly and obvious to you, but never ever let babies and beads get together. It is totally amazing and hazardous what babies and toddlers can come up with to do with beads.

The creatures you make are the babies! There are also often larger versions of the "babies" so it also refers to the fact that the creature you're making is not the "adult."
