My Dad used to put sugar on his - well after all, they are a fruit! Mind you, we all thought he was weird.

I put a wee sprinkle of sugar on mine too, rather than salt - same for peas: really enhances the flavour, and some tomatoes can be quite bland otherwise. So there are a few of us weirdos around :-D

We put sugar on tomatoes too, but when I moved to the South I found out people used salt -which I thought was weird and a little gross. They think the same thing about sugar!
