The fellow who invented tin dished deserves a metal.

I meant dishes, not dished.

I agree. I figured whoever it was really made the headlines!

Especially if she threw them at her husband. Corduroy pillows are also making headlines.

There is beauty in everything.

Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself." —George Bernard Shaw

I have always thought that love was more of a verb than a noun. Blessings.

I look at it this way, nborchardt, the noun "love" is demonstrated by the action verb "love".

Indeed, you are very correct! Thanks for pointing that out, ParsonWayne!

Such pretty pictures as we get on this game. I'm glad I can still participate, some other places on the net aren't letting Europeans in. Even general information sites.

That is not right! Everyone should have access to all sites. How grossly unfair!

Orinoco why isn't the net letting Europeans on? I'm totally ignorant about this situation, doesn't seem right. I'm glad you can still get on, I do enjoy reading your comments. Be safe.

Don't ask me, darambo. It has something to do with the EU's data protection law, I think. Or perhaps just growing isolationism on the part of some countries.

Orinoco I am totally against isolationism. How can a country grow and change as it must in todays world if it is isolated??? Be safe.

The world seems to be stepping back to the mind set of the mid 1930s...and we all know how that ended.

Funny you should say that Orinoco my son and I were talking about that very thing and how badly that ended, yesterday. The world is in a precarious situation right now I believe. Be safe.

Did an internet search and the EU's GDPR (General Data Protection Act) is preventing many websites, news and other sites, from being accessible to those in the EU.

Governmental censorship almost always has a reason and that reason is almost always foolish. What sites are you blocked from? I'd like to try them here (USA).

I know you can get on them, abacii, because you are in the US. That's rather the point.

Some companies or individual posters bar their specific pages from being displayed. I often run into "This image is not available in your country". It's not governmental (I hope), but it's still censorship.

Those tin dishes remind me of the ones my family had in the home where I grew up. That was many years ago.
