I love both cats and birds but one eats the other, funny, huh? Plus all animals. Feed wild birds too. Seagulls are my favorite. They are fun to feed and if you are consistent with them they become familiar with you and come much closer for feeding. I wave my arms in the air like a bird and one then all come over for feeding. I suggest you don't feed them white bread like many other Seagull feeders. Instead I give them dried fish flavored cat food and any left over chicken parts skin, muscle and all. I was able to feed Canadian Geese this winter they have a change in diet and can find little to eat like carbohydrates like rolled oats and other grains. Look up winter diet for geese same for ducks. they have instincts that nature gives them but they don't have refrigerators and shelf food like we do! Wild animals are more hungry in the winter. I live on the northern Massachusetts coast, Lynn MA. I wish others would post where they live too, please. It is interesting to know this instead a lot of pretty picture comments.
