Adorable! Imagine having one of these in your back yard:) Fortunately I am in the city and we don't have any of these in our yards. Very cute though!

I have three of them, that get into my deck at night...I agree they are not cute at all, they are very destructive.

There are many raccoons in cities. They feed themselves in garbage pails. Look for them in alleys, especially behind restaurant rows.

I love black-eyed susan's ya can't kill 'em no matter what. They would push up between the cracks in my sidewalk in the searing August heat of Louisiana. Racoon's I love from a distance, we have them around the hospital I work at in Aurora Colorado.

My Dad brought home a couple babies and had them in a cage in our basement when I was around 12 or 13 yrs. old. Dad was a hunter and I don't remember why he felt the need to care for them for several weeks. The funny part of this story, is that they got loose one day and totally ransacked our kitchen. End of story, don't remember where Dad took them after that. They were cute though!
