It has been freezing these past few days and tonight's top story featured snow in Queensland, almost unheard of. We saw people throwing snowballs, making snowmen and frolicking in the snow. Yesterday when I went outside, it felt just as it did when I was living in Canada before it snowed. And we have another two days to look forward to yet brrrrrrr.

It's 93 here & my son worked in the cold so long he gets sick in the heat. He will be 51 July 19th & it was a Sunday then also.

We are geared for the heat and not this cold, so like our summers. If it gets really warm, wet a facecloth and wrap it around the back of your neck. Seems to cool the body down that way. Nice cold hugs for you today jud :)

Things are pretty much the same with my husband. Im having problems getting any carer support at the mo for m hospital appointments to sort my knee out unless I pay for it. Save the country thousands by been his carer but wouldn't change, that just wish I could have some support when I need it. Have told them that if I don't get support and get my knee sorted they will have to provide a full time carer because I wont be able to carry on. Finding it very stressful

Crlyblonde, it's hard enough to be a caregiver without having health issues of your own on top of it. Can't do much to help you but pray for a solution and for less pain. Hugs to you, too.
