Think I will just stay away from weather like this! I don't even like thunderstorms.
Worried about Tabby. She lost weight and she does eat well. Blood tests results on Friday.

I'm sure she will be fine. Is she an older cat? Often they get skinny in their old age (wish I could). Praying for her.

She probably is about 15. I am investigating l-131 but not sure whether I want to do it or not. She seems happy and other than the weight loss acts fine. Very lovable cat. Will know more tomorrow and lots of questions for vet. I wish we could go inside--but NOT YET!

My cat had 1-131 last November. It worked! He gained weight and is healthy again. He is 15 years old now, and I'm so grateful we had a cure.

Her T4 is 3.9 but might be some more issues. Says to test in 3 to 6 months. Vet said 6 months, but I said 3 so will be tested again in December. Hard to ask questions when you have to talk outside. Hopefully will be back to normal by December. Might have to go that route if I'm not satisfied. She still continues to eat well and I go on the hypothyroid Facebook page from which I have learned much.

There was a storm I had never heard of in a northern midwest state --- called a derecho (or something similar in spelling.) It is just wind and very destructive. I will look that up.

I watched some youtube videos of that storm. So similar to hurricanes we have experienced.

What an awesome sight

Very, very familiar with this sight, as I grew up in the OK panhandle. Summer afternoons, these HUGE thunderstorms would sweep across the prairie - you could see them coming for miles. Usually just brought (more) wind and rain, but sometimes heavy hail, too. The biggest hailstone we every found was the size of a softball. Living in AK, we don't have storms like this, as we're on the ocean and our air is too cool for the storm to form. Believe it or not, I miss them. They are a true statement of God's power. Totally awesome!
