Don't know where this is but I would give anything to get to the beach this year. The beach itself wouldn't be dangerous to visit. The crowds make it impossible with this pandemic.

Just got one of my cats in the cage for an anual vet trip. Not easy to do. This looks like an inviting scene. Wish I was there. Not an easy puzzle to do. Just got back last night from a week-end trip to a wedding in PA so trying to get back some organization.

I just grab the one going. Sometimes put a towel around her. No problems today--scooped her up, held on to her and put her in the cage.Healthy cat. Said she had a reall healthy coat of hair.

I was in PA a few months ago visiting family. I can 't believe all the changes in my old hometown. I am so glad I live in VA. Lake Wallenpaupack has just grown so much. I don't think there is much more room for another house.

I don't think I could live up north anymore. However I do love visiting once in a while. Not too much visiting anymore since age is catching up. I am still recoopering from the week-end wedding. Had a great time but glad to be back home.

Elijah13, I would love to visit one more time this year to take care of my son's grave before their winter sets in. It is so expensive though and like you, it is a hard trip for my husband. I am concerned though as his dad is 89 and still lives up there. We have been trying to get him to move down here in Va., with us, but he says he says he is too old. I am glad you had a good time at the wedding.

Mamag, when an elderly person is "forced" to move, (he doesn't want to, but family says he must) it can create health problems. The stress involved generally manifests in strokes and heart attacks. If he can manage life where he is, let your FIL stay.

Aknan, I would never force him to do anything he doesn't want to. He is happy where he is and I understand that. My daughter is up there with him so he is not alone. He has lived in that house over 60 years. that is his home. I just get concerned because of the harsh winters as the house is old and falling apart. I have respect for him and his choices. God bless you for caring :)

I do not know about anyone else, but I would need an upright chair with a way to elevate my feet. Also, a good book, magazine, internet source, and a cold water would need to be there. How did I ever go to beaches without anything?

That beach looks so peaceful and the lifeguard seems to be enjoying himself.
