Pretty sunflower I love the roasted and salted seeds There was an article on tv about a man who planted miles of them along both sides of a road in memory of hi departed spouse I thought that was the nicest thing I have heard in some time if I cone that I would have to haves acres of land for cherry trees and import thousands of hummingbirds
As a teenager, my friends and I ate tons - millions maybe--of sunflower seeds. We called them "Polly Seeds". I never knew why we called them by that name--maybe they are a favorite of Polly Parrot? We just ate the seeds and left trails a mile long of the shells.
Messy, we sure were. Brats, for sure. I still like them, however, but I am neater about the whole deal nowadays!
Had that done 9 years ago, made a wonder difference in my eye sight.

CatLadyOKC:) I had my Cataract Surgery this morning:) It was a piece of cake:) I can see so much better:) I wear a contact lens in my left eye. God Bless you and your Family:)

I had to have both eyes done, and was told that there wasn't a state they would give me a drivers license after it was done I have 20/20 in one eye and 20/25 in the other. But have to have each one done at about a month apart and that month was terrible because I couldn't see out one eye without my glasses or see out of the other eye with my glasses. Have been wear glasses since my late 30's.

I luckily also wear contact lenses:) I had lost my left contact lens. I have a new one. I will see what my Dr. says tomorrow.

I had my done about 8 years ago at 62, and I still can do most things with out my glasses, I am starting to need the reading part of my glasses this year so I wear them most of the time, easier to find them & they don't get as scratched up if they are on my nose.

I went to my Ophthalmology Appointment this morning:) All is well:) I see so much better now:)
