I have enjoyed eating the strawberries this year. They are really good. My great-granddaughter loves it so I mailed her some. I know what you mean about being sore. I gardened for about 3 hours pulling weeds. It took me 3 days to be able to get up without a lot of pain. I still love gardening but I learned my lesson this week. I'll do an hour at a time from now on.

February is Strawberry time in Plant City, Fl. I remember one year going down and picking strawberries. The next day I could barely move. Haven't done it since. Just buy them at Publix.

Devon Cream Tea for me, with fresh strawberries. Or homemade Freezer Strawberry Jam. My hubby makes the best!

Chop the strawberries, (halves or quarters, it's up to you). You can sprinkle them with sugar if you wish. Whip some double cream 'til it's thick. Break up a few meringues into smallish pieces, then mix the whole shebang together. Loaded with calories, but soooo good. Hope you try and enjoy toadalove. (and anyone else who cares too!)
