Very colourful puzzle.

"I love the scents of winter! For me, it's all about the feeling you get when you smell pumpkin spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, gingerbread and spruce." Taylor Swift

"The only time my prayers are never answered is on the golf course." Billy Graham

"Growing old has been the greatest surprise of my life." Billy Graham

Good night dear friends, take care and God bless. Hugs.

Good night Aussie,
ps. I remember seeing Billy Graham speak at our oval in Adelaide showgrounds when I was a teenager, I went with a group from our church and we all shared blankets for our knees as it was winter, night time and freezing. Thanks for the memory.:-)x

I'm with Taylor. Actually, those are the scents of Fall. I love those scents and the beginning of the crispness of the air and the changing colors of the leaves of the trees. I hate to end the daylight of Summer but I would probably be bored if everything were the same all the time. There is also something nice about the limited daylight too.

Agree about Fall EXCEPT the shortening days. Fall is the most beautiful and exciting season of the year for me--apple picking, those gorgeous golden corn stalks in interesting patterns and rows, very blue skies, cool breezes with the sun still hot, frost sparkling in the morning and mist rising on the lake, geese and ducks veeing and calling to eachother, harvest moon, Halloween and thanksgiving and best of all the leaves turning.

Thank you KNadine. I see you are a fall fan by your icon. Once we went for a woodland hike and the path was strewn with so many colors it looked like my paint pallet.

Yes, I've always been a Fall fan. I have a Fall birthday, it's at the end of September. I've been starting to like Summer a bit more especially since we've been having some bad Winters the past few years where I live and last Summer wasn't much of a Summer at all. Fall will probably always be my most favorite.

There have been more evacuations since I left my comments yesterday. Wind did pick up a lot in the afternoon yesterday but is calm right now, it is almost an eerie calm. Cant really explain it but it is after 2:00 in the morning and too calm and looks strange out there. It would make a good setting for a spooky movie right now is about the only way I can explain it.
Just to give an example of only two of the fires and there are many more then these two. One of the fires has burned 190, 000 acres and 3, 000 homes are threatened and 225 commercial properties and 1, 000 other structures threatened.
The other fire has burnt 302, 224 acres and 5, 140 homes are threatened, 94 confirmed destroyed and of other structure 63 reported destroyed. This fire also grew more then 20, 000 acres in the last 24 hours and containment has decreased from 17% to 12%. This is just 2 of the fires.
Its about 4:30 a.m. now. Was on the phone. My boyfriends daughter has been evacuated once and his son is fighting the bigger of the two fires that grew so fast in 24 hours that I told everyone about.
No rain yet but hopefully it comes in today sometime. If we really do get the rain this time we are supposed to get rain today thru next weekend and do we ever need it. It is so dry out there. Will keep updating when I know something.

Here in Lacey the rain woke me up last night, it was so hard. Now there is a nice slow drizzle/rain. I pray it hops over the mountains and you get the rain too. I can't fathom what is happening in our eastern part of the state. I'm assuming you are in WA. Be safe!

Seaview know what you are saying about the fires and the smoke. We got a little rain this morning and in between the clouds is the first blue smokeless sky we have had in weeks. Prayers for the firefighters, the evacuated, be safe everyone

I'm in SW Washington, and have been watching the reports about the eastern side of the state. So very scary. Praying the rain this next week helps and don't cause additional problems with flooding.
