Love all the orange. Is that an apple behind the pumpkin? What a big apple...even though that's a very small pumpkin. I planted gourd seeds and one vine grew a little and even had one flower but it died without issue. :-( The nasturtium I planted near it hardly grew either but the ittty bitty plant just had a flower. Guess it's a crumby spot.
Not sure that I have ever seen white ones, but I am with you on the appeal Jamp - Hugs.

Have seen the white ones, and I'm with JAMP -not very attractive to me. There are so many different kinds, too - striped w/green or white and even a really bumpy one called a knucklehead!
Pumpkins make really beautiful soup and so easy to make.

Love pumpkin soup, especially with a dash of sherry and a small dollop of sour cream. My Dearly Beloved won't touch it, so I only have it at a restaurant.
