I love your quotes this morning Aussie, especially the one with Miss Alder. People can think all they want to about you but only God knows the real you. The second one is good also. We serve a loving and gracious God.

Aussie, I need our prayer warriors to call on God's goodness once again. A sweet lady lost her first husband (30 yrs) to colon cancer. She found love again and has been married 12 yrs. They lost everything in an apartment fire about 2 years ago and are working to recover. Her husband has a growth in his esophagus and they've also found a spot on his lung that the doctors just want to "watch". She is terrified that she'll lose this man, too, and doesn't think she can stand it. I'm praying that God helps her find the strength she needs and that her husband will be OK. Can anyone add their prayers to mine? They would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Aknan, don't know how I missed your call for prayer but I did :( I certainly know how she feels and as it is now almost three years since the love of my life walked out I can only say it gets better with time. Tell her to hang in there and that she has an amazing friend in you Aknan. Hugs.

Monkeys freak me out. They are cute in their own way but still, their squawks are unbearable and very screechy.

Yeah - Now you can imagine how I felt when I came a few feet from one in the wild. I was quite young at the time. I stepped out of a van and looked at the scenery and poof there was the monkey.
Ugh! I came a few feet from a monkey in the wild. My grandmother lost 3 husbands due to disease. An extremely strong woman - while raising two daughters she worked as an interior designer. Back then woman didn't work. She'd travel alone to places that I'd be nervous to go to - Pakistan.
