Don't get any snow here - have just been on a holiday in Far North West Queensland (a little town called Winton) to visit family where it was 43C (109.4F) during the day. A very Australian Christmas for me. Have a White Christmas on my bucket list though, so hopefully will enjoy a scene like this in person one day. Hope you all have an absolutely fabulous 2018. Cheers

I was looking through the Random Puzzles and saw many names I haven't seen in awhile: SANTACLAUS, hockeyfan, Starrphyre, CatLadyOKC, tomandray, pixipixil, jajac, Barbaranne, mamag15, to name a few. I suppose some just get tired of puzzling, and, alas, others may not be able to afford internet, may be in a nursing home, or, as we all must do some day, pass on to the world beyond. There are some of us who miss seeing them and their comments and wish there was a way to find out why they're not with us any longer. Let's offer prayers for their comfort, safety, happiness and peace.

Thanks CatLady and dbnc! I had a wonderful day, peaceful and quiet topped off by my hubby making me a dinner of crab legs accompanied by shrimp scampi with a birthday cake afterward. We (me, hubby and our son) enjoyed the meal tremendously after which our son gave me a birthday card and present. Lovely, lovely.
I love the snow and watching people ski. I love to ride a open sleigh in the snow pulled by horses. I love for it to snow on Christmas Eve for Christmas Day!
