Hate ski lifts, had to give up skiing because of it. I have a really bad phobia about heights, don't like to fly either.Hope you are all well. I don't know if our new puppy is going to work out. Our 12 year old corgi's do not want him around, he can't even get close, they snarl and snap and I'm afraid they may hurt him. If I have to give him back to our friend it will break my heart. I have been trying to get another basset for almost 7 years since I had to put my "Molly" down because of cancer. If any of you have any tips or advice I certainly need them please. Never had this problem with other dogs and I just don't know what to do. You all be safe.

Darambo, I searched this website about "Introducing new dog to current dog". I hope it helps. I was going to send the article, but it was 3 pages. This is the web address. https://www.petpoisonhelpline.com/blog/introducing-new-dog-home-resident-dogs/

How about trying a "snuggle fest" with "the new kid on the block" on one side of you and the corgis on the other --- spreading attention to both sides.
Or --- for awhile, to be fair to your new pup, give individual attention to that one separately from the other two.
Or --- separate the Corgis and have one interact with the new one --- one on one, not two on one. Hope one of these suggestions helps. It's trial and error.

Workined and Jamp thanks so much for the advice. I Went to the web site you advised and was glad to see we were already doing what they suggested. I guess I'm just expecting this to happen too fast. Would like to take them all for a walk, but the snow is deeper than they are tall, so it makes it extremely difficult right now. Thanks again and be safe.

Those gondolas are awfully close together. I would think there would be danger of them bumping in high winds. I love going up mountains in gondolas.

I'm with you, nana24. They seem too close. Any I've been on have been far away from others. It also seems like a lot of weight in too close a space.

I was going to say that maybe they lined them up close for the picture, but then realized they were full of people. After zooming in, it looks like the same people in the first two gondolas and the same in the last two. Now I'm going to say that the camera was stationary and took multiple shots and then they photo shopped the images close together.

Fairly easy to do. Don't like heights anymore. Give me solid ground!
