How does a tree cause an accident? I would think that would be the fault of the driver.

I think what jas means is that when you drive on that kind of road is that it is straight and you never know what a person coming the other way is doing IF he doesn't use lights even in the day time and if he/she crosses into your lane you might have to swerve then you would hit a tree
