Could be a farmer's market or a green grocer. They look fresh and clean and delicious.

They would look so pretty in a salad.

Give up your resistance to change
Change is good. Change will help you move from A to B. Change will help you make improvements in your life and also the lives of those around you. Follow your bliss, embrace change – don't resist it.

"Follow your bliss and God will open doors for you where there were only walls" Joseph Campbell

Good night and God bless. Hugs.

I needed those quotes today. My daughter, who lives in South Carolina, called me last night with an update on job, kids, housing, etc. She told me something that has me really scared and I am asking for prayers. My 7 year old grandson was diagnosed with ADHD last year. They have him on medication and he has improved immensely. Near the end of the school year his behavior was off the charts. They took him to be tested and, to make a long story short, they believe he has a tumor on his brain.....you can all imagine how I feel and what my daughter must be going through. No mention if it might be cancer and no MRI until Aug. 23. I completely believe in the power of prayer and God's power. If you could keep her and her family, and me, in your prayers I would be so very, very grateful. Thank you so much!

Thanks, aussie, for these quotes of wisdom, for everything is subject to the immutable law of change and decay. Those who are adamant about "we've always done it this way" or "there's no other way to understand it" are losing out on a lot of wonderful progress and enlightenment. Hugs, dear cyber friend! And, thanks again.

I got my certification in Change Management from the state of Connecticut about 30 years ago. The most important thing we learned was how to get people to accept change.

When I was training people to use on-line computers (the first computer some of them had used! ), I found that the young people had no problem with the changes it brought - and neither did those over 60! It was the middle-agers who fought every step of the way. When you're young, things are always changing. When you're older, you've seen enough change that it's no big deal. It's those years in between that are the challenge.

Nborchardt, what a trying time for all of you. I'm praying that they find the tumor is a self-contained cyst and it can be removed or treated with drugs successfully. Having it removed/treated may even end the ADHD! I hold you all in my heart.

Just read your post nborchrdt, and immediately said a prayer for your precious grandson. Will remember him in my daily prayers, too, as well as ask for spiritual support for his loving family.

Pixi, you would have a hard time up here most of the year! Right now, I can get wonderful, tasty, meaty tomatoes at the farmer's market, so I buy several at a time. If they start to get soft, I cut them up and freeze them to use in dishes during the winter.

I have one in the fridge right now I plan to throw in a stew because it is past fresh eating goodness. Freezing stuff is so much easier than canning.

These look like they may taste like tomatoes! What we get in the supermarket in the winter should have a different name --- not tomato.

Me, too, jas -- especially the middle section. And I was initially puzzled by the puzzle's title -- Shades of Red -- but when I worked it and all the little red edgings wouldn't match up to what I thought they should, I reflected back on the choice of title and saw how it fit this puzzle. Hope you're having a great day, wherever you are!
