I'm a tree lover, and both Sequoia and Redwood Forests are on my "bucket list"

The Cathedral Woods on Vancouver Island has huge trees--not Sequoia sized but big enough and the forest itself is magical.

I am too! The Northern Lights is at the top of my bucket list.

Would love to see them also. Many wish list but not bucket list things--too dangerous for most but wish I could see them like Venezuelan tepuis and Angel Falls, Plvitce Falling Waters in Croatia, the Andes in Argentina.

Your bucket list is one for traveling far distances. :)

Don't really expect to ever get to any of them, rahrah. I saw them on various PBS shows and thought these places were extra special and couldn't be matched elsewhere.
Like those places there are some things I'd never want to actually do -- like seeing the cave with the giant crystals or scuba diving the great barrier reef--but would never even think of taking the risks involved to do them.

I haven't given up yet on my list, although I am about to! Maybe we could print out pictures from the internet, or find them elsewhere, and make a "bucket list" album, or frame them and make a "bucket list" wall display!

I have VHS recordings of the tepuis and plvitce but have to use our old TV to watch. Sometimes I look at youtube videos.

You make good points rahrah and pixie....it seems like a lot of trouble to get to these places and I wonder if it's worth it...

Xyxyxyxx, what's #1 on your bucket list?

There are some that just have to be experienced to be fully appreciated like the Grand Canyon. But for others I suspect a good video will do---on a large screen of course.

Rahrah - I don't know - that is food for thought. What is yours? Until the recent hurricane, I really wanted to visit the US Virgin Islands but now I'll have to wait.

Pixi, when I was a kid, any time someone from out-of-state would visit, we'd get all packed up and head off for the Grand Canyon! I haven't been there for a very long time now. xyxyxyxx, mine is the Northern Lights, I'm simply in awe of them.

Xyxy I was just looking at videos of all our National parks and had the same reaction to the Virgin Islands. How sad. We'll probably head west again.
Anybody visited the Channel Islands off Santa Barbara? We probably couldn't hike them but the wildlife cruise around them looks good. They are a haunting sight from the sea.

Improved my time some with my new mouse.

Fiesty how do you know when you need a new mouse. My mouse acts like something must be wrong. I can't tell because my computer needs worked on but I got to thinking maybe it's just the mouse.

Jingles, I had a mouse attached to my computer by wire; when it was dying, the cursor randomly jumped around. I replaced it with a wireless mouse that uses a battery. When the battery gets low, it's hard to direct the cursor. A new battery solves the problem. Truly prefer the wireless to the wired mouse, too.

They seem to get erratic...I use a small very reasonable. Son says my acts like it has a hair in it, but also mine doesn't want to do the same thing each day. You also might check your settings sometime it's just in that. I've used mine for at least a couple years, maybe more. I like the
ones that are cordless. Son's is much larger than mine & does many thing, but for what I use mine I don't need the extra buttons & my hand is much smaller than his.

Jingles you can tell that you need a new mouse when your mouse starts doing this or doesn't do things that it normally would. I'd take your computer in for a diagnostic test. They can tell you if it's the computer or it's the mouse. We do scans on our two computers. When you're dealing with the internet you have to becareful what sites you go to. Even buying something off the internet. It will tell you if it's encrypted - or there will be a picture of a key at the bottom. I contacted one company that had a website. My mom wanted me to buy xmas ornaments. I contacted the company via phone and asked if there was was protected - it wasn't so I didn't buy anything from their site.

I got my mouse a the local Wal-Mart for less than $8.00-I use key board commands most the time. Use mouse mostly for puzzles and I usually do 8-300's each day so it gets lots of use. But I'm spoiled - My son takes care of my computer & he has his own diagnostic program. My last one computer lasted for over 10 years. Guess he knows what he is doing.

Lol Akan - We have both a wireless mouse and the wired kind. Of course the mouse isn't going to work very well when the battery is low. Computers don't work very well either when their battery is low. Have used computers since 81. and worked with them for work since 1984. I'll never forget a woman asking me how I sent funds to her - she said Paypal or the mail. Then she tells me that she knows how Paypal works. I don't think so that she knew - Paypal is all done via computer - we were going to put a dep. down for a puppy.

Have seen lots of pictures of these trees but never the real thing. I believe they are magnificent.

Thankfully I did not but I have lost touch with a couple of my friends from other islands though. They are still without phone and lights. My heart breaks for them.

The redwoods are majestic --- but they didn't translate into an interesting puzzle. Yet --- it was easier than I expected.

Have seen these trees several times, they are truly magnificent Aussie and everyone else who have not seen them. They are soooo big!! Hard to believe a tree could be so tall and big around. Several years ago one of the forest fires got dangerously close to them, took much effort to keep them from catching fire. To all my fellow puzzlers have a wonderful day and stay safe.
