Nice picture. Does anyone remember a book called "Jonathan Livingston Seagull"? I remember it was making the rounds when I was in college and we all discussed the meanings in this book. We thought we were so deep and smart back then. But, thankfully we stopped being so full of ourselves and learned how to be kind....at least some of us did! Blessings to all.
Yes! I had that book. I have a house full of "seagull" things. They are displayed all over my house.

I lived less than a mile from the beach in Massachusetts --- and I knew Jonathan (any of the many Jonathans) well!
One even dropped a message on my head one day at the beach. Yuk! Ee-uu!

My grandparents had a cottage at the beach--can't recall name, but we were there each summer until we went to college. The last hurricane that took the cottage was "Hurricane Carol in 1954 and they never built another one. Finally gave the land to the state of Massachusetts.

Jamp124, Sounds like you had an experience similar to the one we used to recite when I was a child: Birdie birdie in the sky dropped some white-wash in my eye. I'm a big girl, I won't cry. I'm just glad that cows don't fly!

Johnathan Livingston Seagull was and still is one of my favorite movies. The photography is spectacular.

Read it, gave it to my mother, who also enjoyed it and when the movie came out, I treated her to a "ladies night out" with dinner - at Pizza Hut, her request!
This puzzle took a long time to do it but since I love seagulls, it didn't bother me. I have a seagull on my desktop also. This is a beautiful picture of a seagull! In fact I do miss seeing seagulls,

Yes, I remember it, read it. Not caught up in it's meaning. It was a very visual book, they made a movie of. Any way...being kind and loving is important and brings blessing to all. Even if they grumble when you do something kind.
