I've seen sea salt. Have seen some salt that's pink in color. Yes I could tell that you needed a grinder for this salt. There are other products that work for grinding coarse salt.
This is the salt that requires a grinder, like peppercorns require a pepper grinder, although it might be good for hot pretzels that usually has a courser salt than regular table salt.
