Easy puzzle...I made it in the smallest pieces available. Started it yesterday....the phone rang and I didn't get back to it until tonight. I love this site.

My mother always used to tell me that if a bird left a message on you, that was good luck. Well today I went for my weekly treat of coffee in a little sidewalk café and all the tables there are covered by an umbrella. I finished my coffee (praise God) and had settled into reading my book, when suddenly there was an explosion of a kind I didn't need or want and when it hit the table it was as though a bomb had gone off and scattered everywhere. I was covered head to toe with all sorts of luck. I looked up wondering how on earth, with the protective umbrella, that had happened and in the middle of the umbrella was a hole about and inch and a half wide and about four inches long whoa!!! That bird had excellent aim and I was left with enough "luck" to last me for the next two years lol.

Such fun. Next time I will take my own umbrella!!

Good night and God bless. Hugs.

Well, I guess it is better to look on the bright side when something like that happens. That is really making the best of a stinky situation! We have a family poem, written about 100 years ago by my husband's grandmother. She went out in the dark to empty her little boy's potty. She tripped over a dead goose frozen in the yard, and returned to the house covered with the contents of the pot. But instead of staying mad, she turned it into a hilarious poem that has delighted us for 100 years! Thanks for giving me another perspective for when the birds make a deposit on my car!

I was similarly "blessed" a couple months ago. I was on my way into the hospital to have a spinal tap done, so I was a little nervous already. It was raining pretty hard so hubby dropped me off at the front door while he parked the car. I was saying hello to the Valet when a very large "bomb" hit my head, point blank. I thought it was a large raindrop at first, but it was warm! I put my hand up to dry my hair and it came back covered in "good luck! " The Valet and I looked up and there in the rafters of the overhang was one very large pigeon with perfect aim. I swear, he was LAUGHING at me!! After scrubbing the "luck" off my head, we all had a big laugh about it! It really helped reduce my nervousness, and the spinal tap went fine. So I guess I really was "lucky" after all!

This happened to me once on my way to work one morning many years ago. my hair was shiny and held my style. running for the subway, I felt something hit my head. well, it was gross!!! needless to say I had to go back upstairs, call the office and tell them I will be late. I had to wash and dry my hair all over again. I am still not sure if it was lucky or not. thanks for the story. have a lovely day.

Don't know when I've heard bird poop called a message, but that's fine with me. I've had a macaw hit my hair while walking down in Mexico. Messy. Now, I've learned to stay away from those big trees!

Did you know chickens have 3 wet and 2 dry movements every hour? A government study was actually done on that! My mom said if they'd just have asked, she could have told them and they wouldn't have to spend all that money!
