Love Red Roses. Great mystery today.

Sad news today. I had to withdraw from school. Hubby's health is getting worse and I need to be here with him. If it had not been for the practicum I would have been okay. But we need to have hands-on training. I just hope that I can finish in the near future. My heart is completely broken. I was so close but I guess this was not in my cards. Hopefully., God will have other plans for me. Thank you all for the support you have shown me with your kind words, helping me through difficult assignments, and just listening to me vent and give praise for good things. I love you and, again I thank you. God bless you my friends.

I will keep you in my prayers, mamag. You are one strong lady to see what is of the most importance. You will get your chance, when the time is right, but you know that your husband needs you right now. God bless you, my friend, and never give up hope. So sorry this has happened to you and your husband.

Oh, mamag I was so hoping a solution would present itself where you could have both. I realize that would have been a miracle indeed but I prayed for it anyway. It's just that sometimes He says that is not His plan. God is with you and will help you through this difficult time. Be strong and wait for His blessings upon your faithfulness.

Oh, mamag, to be so close and have your prize slip further away is disheartening. Don't fret; this is your husband's time for your hands-on care and your practicum can be done later. God puts many challenges on the way to our goals, but He always gives us the strength to reach them. My prayers for both of you.

Mamag, I'm so sorry. I know how hard you have worked to get to this point. I'm sure your husband feels bad that you're having to give up your dream for his health. Sometimes God puts these detours up to strengthen us and point us in the way He wants us to go. I will pray for your both to have a smooth transition into this time of life. God bless you...(((Hugs)))

Dear mamag, I am so very sad for you as I know how much your study and eventual teaching meant to you. I am sure God has your future planned, so just rest in him and use this time as a break from your studies and you will get back to them renewed and revitalized. Hugs.

Mamag, just had a thought (I do have them sometimes! ) Please check with your professors and see how long you can come back and do the practicum without having to retake the courses you've already had. Some schools give you up to two years to finish when a degree is interrupted by illness or financial hardship, maybe more. Good luck!

Mamag, I'm so sorry to hear that your hubby's health has taken a turn for the worse and that you have to stop your lessons. There are times in life when we just don't want to be the 'strong' one but we have to be. Y'all are in my prayers. God bless you both.

Thank ya'll for the support at this difficult time. I was feeling very selfish and angry at myself. I can go back and finish up but not until I am absolutely sure hubby is going to be okay. In the meantime, I am trying to spend my time with him and taking care of his needs. Between the Occupational Therapist, Physical therapist, and home care nurse, we are hoping to get him back to feeling better. I appreciate your prayers. We both need them. Ya'll have my prayers as well.

Mamag, you are definitely allowed to feel selfish and angry - your entire life plan was upset and it totally threw you off balance. The good thing is you have us to vent to and know that we won't be judgmental toward you. That's a vital escape outlet! Know that you are cared for!

It is always hard to see a loved one suffer and know that there is nothing you can do that will ease their pain. You and I are in the same situation. I'll keep praying for you and your hubby.

Mamag I was just going through the puzzles I missed because of broke laptop and I saw the news about school and I am so very sorry. My son went to college to become a pharmacy tech he wants to go into nuclear medicine anyways when he reported for his practicum they said they didn't need him after all. Turned out this woman who owns the pharmacy only uses and trains females. Because this was the only place in the area he could do it and the woman wouldn't take him he lost the whole last semester and didn't get to graduate. I know you worked so hard for your schooling and it doesn't seem quite fair now, but I am just as sure you did the right thing and another better opportunity will present it's self. Hang in there ;-D Hope your hubby is doing better. Prayers for both of you. The pain will go. Keep your eyes open for the next plan He sends your way as sometimes they are shown in mysterious ways. Be safe and know we are always here for you if you need to vent or what ever.

Aknan and mamag, I pray for God's help for both of you. My hubby's MS is progressing and he's just recently had another MRI for his doctor to assess the new damage. We go soon to find out what his doctor has to say.

I am so sorry trynfindit. I think we need to get to get together and have ourselves a crying party. Some of the ladies at church are dealing with husbands whose health is also deteriorating. We were jokingly thinking of having ourselves a pity party and lift then each other up. Maybe that is what we need. Sending prayers and many blessings.

I have a prayer request please. My sister-in-laws mother had surgery recently and went into the hospital yesterday with blood clots in her lungs. My sister-in-law just called to ask for prayer as some of the clots have broken loose and are in her blood stream. Thank you.

What would we DO without prayer? God's ears are probably ready to fall off after to listening to ME all these years. But, I will keep on bugging Him. Prayers for your sister-in-law are on the way.

Can a mesh "seive" be inserted in a major artery to contain the clots? I've had one for 33 years when there was a clot problem following brain surgery. I'm praying for all of you.

We are having unprecedented floods in the north of the State where I live, 20, 000 homes inundated and the worst weather event on record. Please pray for all those people affected by these floods. Thank you.

Good night and God bless. Hugs.

Hi abacii different parts of the state, that was in the tropical north and where I live is the south east part of the state. We are crying out for rain as the grass is now a crunchy brown, but in the last couple of days we have had a few short showers which will help a lot. Some info re Queensland With an area of 1, 727, 000 square kilometres, Queensland is the second largest state in Australia. The biggest is Western Australia. Queensland is nearly five times the size of Japan, seven times the size of Great Britain, and two and a half times the size of Texas. As you can see it is quite large so we can have floods and fires at the same time without the floods putting out the fires :( Hugs.

It would be nice if we could have time to catch our breath before the next catastrophe comes along! Fires, floods, deathly cold weather, record heat waves - all we need now is a plague of locusts or frogs!
