I don't eat enough vegetables. I like most though. Nhoward, Glad your dog is doing well. I know how it is when the elderly ones are sick especially.

Lovely assortment of root veggies and veggies that I like! Our Yorkie had surgery yesterday morning and was home by nightfall. He is drinking water, now we have to get him to eat something. He is better today than yesterday afternoon and evening and what more could we ask for? Have a blessed day, Puzzlers!!

So glad to hear your little guy is doing better after his surgery and hope that he's eating by now. If he's not, perhaps he'd like a treat such as peanut butter. :-)

These do look delicious! I love root veggies. What surgery did your Yorkie get? Hoping he continues his recovery.

Well, he had stones in his urethra and bladder. When we first got the diagnosis from our vet, and she was pushing quite forcefully for surgery. We did some research and found that anesthesia is hard on an elderly dog. We told her we were not going to do the surgery but we would keep an eye on him and brought him back 2 weeks later and he had more stones. We set up a surgery date with a pet hospital in our town and got him in a week later. Thank God we did because he had still MORE stones. He came out of the anesthesia pretty well. Now he is doing a lot better and all internal body movements are great! Thank you for asking and I hope I didn't go on too much!

So glad he made it through surgery and tolerated the anesthesia. Stones in the bladder and urethra are very dangerous and can be painful. Hope he recovers quickly!

I am glad to hear he is doing well! My Dalmatian boy had that. Sand, more than stones. You don't go on too much. Impossible when it's our pets or our grandkids.

I thank you, jazz0130 and JAMP124 for your most kind words! He started to play with his toys yesterday and is now playing his version of fetch....he runs and picks up his toy but he will never ever give it to you! Things are a bit happier in our home since he is better. Thank you for the good thoughts!!!

Nhoward I know this is very late, but I'm so glad your pet is better. Having sick pets is very depressing and hard on people. I'm glad he is playing and the whole household is happier.

These vegetables were quite challenging in this 83-piece CIRCLES puzzle. Nevertheless, it took me less than 30 minutes. Not too shabby for a 71-year-old who has had cataract surgery a short while back!!!!!
