Very pretty decorations on tree and wreath. Too many candles mostly for safety. Hope no children around to play with train. Too
close to candles. Very pretty anyway. Well al our plans for Sam's son and his new family fell through. The 3 year old got pneumonia. Went to hospital maybe for a day. High temperature and still a spot on his lung but doing a lot better. His dad wrote he was going to kick Santa's Jingle Balls. Poor little boy couldn't even open his presents but he did today. They were suppose to be here so we have a lot of food to freeze and pantry to fill. We have only seen the boy 3 or 4 times. Hope they can make plans to both get off work soon but doubt it. His ex and daughter live close to us so we had a little gift exchange. We are close to his ex like a daughter as if nothing happened. That is the way it can be. It was his fault anyway. Shame on me to say that but true. His daughter is 13 and close to us and comes after school here. When she was younger she spent the summers with us and swam in our pool but the teen age came and she stays with her other grandparents or other family. We miss seeing her. At least she was here for Christmas. She was disappointed not seeing her dad. Hope you all had a great Christmas.
What a shame about Sam and his family. I do hope the little boy heals with no lingering problems.

We got a call today. He is much better and they plan on coming tomorrow. Good thing we still have most of the Christmas dinner. We were so shocked that they were coming so soon. They will be here until Friday. I probably won't be on here much for a few days.

Thanks nhoward and aknan. Had a really lovely day with my sister and then this morning the roof fell in. It would be easier to tell you where I had no pain. Still I guess it tells me I am still alive lol. Hugs to you both.
A lovely Christmas corner! In a store, before Christmas, I came upon some objects that I couldn't figure out what they were. They were clumped together and once I looked at one piece, I still didn't know.
However, I found the sign on the side. They were stands made of something resembling wrought iron, with six S-hooks hanging from the cross-piece. It is a stand for hanging Christmas stockings (if you don't have a mantle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What next?
