We have had an amazing cool change to the point where I had to wear a sweater today. So hot recently and now this. Weather gone mad.

I know what you mean about the weather Aussie. The weather pattern has been a little off its meds. I think it needs a reality check!! Our pastor says that here in Virginia, we are the only state that can have Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter all in one week. I have seen in PA. also.

Aussie...you should try to locate those small fabric scarves that wrap around your neck and tie. They contain ingredients that absorb cold water and can be frozen to create a cooling neck wrap when tied. The cooling affect makes life very bearable during horribly hot days. They will come again, and the wraps are economically priced and probably on sale now that the weather has cooled.

Interesting bird. Looks something like a Heron which we have in North America.

Very interesting bird. They are calling for another yucky wintery mix tomorrow morning in beautiful Southwest Virginia. I am so ready for Spring already.I have seen a lot of robins and green grass. I think Mother Nature is teasing us.

Cute "do" on the head and the tan feathers on the wings do seem to lap over one another. All-in-all, a very handsome bird.

God bless you all.
