My last puzzle was a picture of lemons. Now the limes are in the lead!

This wasn't too hard....thank goodness! I just got back from seeing my husband in the physical therapy facility. Not much going on because he cannot put any pressure on his ankle that is mending. Nor can he put his food on the floor even when sitting. I think this is going to take much longer than he thinks. And I am sure we both are going to be searching much more patience than we have ever had to have in our lives. Blessing to all you wonderful people!

Nhoward, I was bed- or chair-bound for 4 months, unable to put a foot down while the bone in my foot healed. It is very difficult, frankly, and I was exhilarated when I could finally walk - very slowly and without much coordination - and take a shower instead of using a shower chair. The bone must grow back and become stronger before it's stressed again I pray that both of you find patience to deal with all this, because it won't be easy for either of you. Loving hugs to you both..

Every day when you visit, take something that will interest him. It might be something in the mail, a few cookies you made, something you have a question about, something beautiful (such as one flower), something you read. That way your visit extends after you have gone home. Bless you both.

Hi nhoward. It does take some patience to get through the healing process. My hubby has had 14 surgeries so far and is looking at another 2 spinal surgeries in the very forseeable future. We just do what we have to do but the suggestions aknan and JAMP have made are good ones. My hubby has a favorite cookie - my oatmeal chocolate chip cookies - and I make them for him to gobble up while healing. A shoulder and/or head rub is always good. Another thing he's discovered is Kindle - he loves it! He gets books to read from Amazon and can check out books from our local library as well. Hugs to both of you and prayers to our Lord.

Blessings to you with what you are going through. I remember hearing something about your husband. I just don't remember what happened. Praying for both of you. I know what it is like to be apart. When I had my car accident I was in the hospital for 5 weeks and rehab for 3 months. Sam could tell you how it is working and then seeing me on his way home. We still had two boys at home in high school. It is hard not to be together or help him. About 12 years ago I got my first and worst bed sore. The doctor treating me said I didn't have any infection and 3 days later I was fighting for my life. That took me away again for treatment for 3 months. Poor Sam was always joking with everyone. He loves to tease but I know it wore him out. At least he had early retirement by then from back surgery. I started to look for a prayer mogi but forgot they don't have them on this site. Too bad. It would be as colorful as the puzzles. Ha!

Looks like peas, pearl onions and a sprig of mint...but that has to be wrong.
Got the sprig of mint right anyway.
Hope you are all staying dry. We re having thunderstorms today and I notice the midwest has been having a spate of severe storms.

Not easy! I have never used limes in anything.
Happiest are the people who give the most happiness to others.
Hope your day goes well for you.

A truer statement has never been said. If you aren't doing something that helps or gives someone, you will never find happiness or peace. Thanks for the reminder, elijah13!
