Elijah, I'm so sorry for all your pain...I'm the same way, and I can truly relate to this statement! We have to learn to laugh at our frailties, or we would be in tears constantly! Hugs and peace!

I don't have too much pain. It's only when I try to do too much at a time. Then I just sit a while and then do some more stuff. I have a niece that comes and does things for me. I just keep a iist so she can help me when she comes. I also have a wonderful neighbor that helps me when I ask for it.

I wish I had your support system! Actually, I'm just too scared to ask anyone for help! We are in the middle of a renovation and we can't find ANYTHING! Our grown grandsons have come over a couple times to help us move heavy things around, and we don't know where they put anything! We want to have everything done and looking nice by our 50th anniversary in less than two weeks. I physically can't do anything unless I'm in my wheelchair, and hubby's arthritis is in full flare...I'm in a panic attack about 75% of the time! My pain level skyrockets when I'm anxious. I need some time to PRAY!!

I can relate to at least some of this. My cleaning lady--great friend--comes every other week to clean for me. After she leaves, I play the "guessing" game as I try to find some things.

Thank you so much beckydent and elijah13! It's nice to have the support of prayers and friends that can understand what you are going through! It lifts the burden that surrounds us! My lifelong best friend just came over to help me...It was so good to see her, but we visited more than we worked! It still makes me feel better about getting everything done...Maybe not all in time for the celebration, but good enough for family and friends!

This is what I tell myself: I do as much as I can, but what doesn't get done, that's fine with me. Another day is coming and I "might try harder:! If not, don't worry about it. Life is short enough without helping it end sooner.
