I love red velvet cake. If you get the right frosting it is really good. One of my favorites.

I've never understood the wow factor of red velvet cake when all it is is a good yellow cake with red food color. ?

And I can taste the food coloring, because you have to use so much of it. Have only seen these in chocolate; yellow cake may be better.

RED VELVET cakes were always one of my FAVORITES since Grandma first taught me how to make them when I was around 11 years old. Then I made the cookies and also learned how to make pancakes of that variety ROSE waffle maker.
