When we lived in KS. my in laws had a field that had a small brook that was at the end of the field and there was a red fox that lived near by & every year she would bring her kits up on the little berm to show them to us.
When I went to Annual Conference at Lakeside, Ohio one year, there was a skulk of fox pups that were living in a culvert because their mother had been run over by a car 2 days before we arrived. I saw them and started taking scraps of food to them every morning and evening. By the end of the week, they would come almost up to me to find out what I brought them.
All those wweeds poking every which direction made the background a bit difficult to sort out. The sun must be shining in this critters eyes the way it is squinting at us.
Ugh! Was in a grocery store yesterday - the woman behind me was just so rude! I was waiting just as long to check out. She says oh I've been in line for 10 min. then I was in the other line and the clerk was stuck. I defended the clerk she said it to - she was trying to do 2 jobs. The customer was rolling her eyes as well.
Years ago my husband & I were on a bicycling trip from inn-to-inn around the champlain valley of Vermont. One day while we were out riding, he stopped and pointed up to a ridge where a mother fox and her 3 little cubs were peeking down at us. It was awesome!
