I finished putting mine away yesterday, too. Now I'm going to work on some crafting.

I used to find taking Christmas down depressing but now I put up snow scenes and snow/ice decorations and lights and I don't feel sad.

That's funny, I do the same thing. The house used to look so drab after the Christmas decorations came down that I just decided to put out some wintery ones. I'll keep those up until I put out some things for Valentine's Day.

I don't do anything for Valentine's Day. My husband seems to be allergic to that day. This year Ash Wednesday is the day after Valentine's and I keep things pretty bare thru Lent. I put up a big print of the crucifixion and that's it.
Lots to do today so doing this smaller one today. Cat to vet for blood work check-up, then to Office Max to get a computer desk chair--they put it together for me for $15--worth it. Then to Physical Therapy. Then home!!! Have a good day!

Car wouldn't start so my husband did the shopping. Was just a dead battery which my husband fixed with jumper cables. Thought there was smoething else wrong because not only did the car not start but all the lights on the dashboards started flashing and there was a strange fluttering sound going on. Called the service place and they said the newer cars do that. It was like a pinball machine going off when it says "tilt."
Hope all your problems are as easy to fix as ours was today.
