My mother's favorite color was pink. When giving directions to our house we just said....well, you get it.

That's funny! When I bought my Spanish style house, it was beige with pale sage green on the front door. I painted it a shiny vibrant blue, cobalt.
Then my kids would say to their friends, "It's the one with the blue door! "

I was thinking that it might be New Orleans too, but then again I wasn't sure. It could have been somewhere else.

Well, my husband would disagree, but I would LOVE to have those colored doors on our house! Our house is beige so these would really set it off. I will say that they need to change the yellow on the walls, but keep the purple doors!! Have an outstanding day and I hope each one of you have a day with so many blessings that it will become a lovely memory for you.
