Happy Friday, Puzzlers!! Beautiful day here in Northern Illinois and I hope where you are, also. I went to the podiatrist and he took x-rays and, low and behold, I broke 2 small bones in my foot and now am the proud user of a "boot". It feels better with the boot, I have to admit! Ah, yes, the joys of getting older and falling......I must make an effort to watch what I am doing......as you get older you get more absent minded.....that's my defense and I'm gonna stay with it! Have gloriously wonderful day and may your blessings come to youl like a beautiful snowfall.
At least it was 2 small bones in your foot. I know that hurts like crazy but could've been so much more serious. People think I'm nuts (which is probably true) but on the several occasions I've fallen people rush up and ask if they can help and I reply, "No thanks, I'm just going to lay here for a bit." They are always confused by my remark but I do lay there for a few minutes for some of the discomfort to go away and for me to gather myself back together, so to speak.
