Never in a month of sundays would anyone ever think of threading cotton through popcorn, different I'll give you that.Eating it yes but threading it on cotton, never heard of this before. But then it would not do for us all to be alike.

Have done that for years, although my brother and I usually ate more popcorn than we strung! After Christmas, we removed them from the tree and hung them out for the birds to enjoy.

What a family tradition this used to be in our family when I was young. Wonderful memories.

I sometimes use dental floss. I started stringing some for our tree but ended up tossing it out. Glad, too. The tree looks just fine without it.

Wonderful! Never thought about using gold thread to string the popcorn. Can't do it now because my cat loves popcorn and then you know the rest! 2 More days to go! Yeah!

'Tis the season to make a popcorn garland for the Christmas tree. Good project for kids and grand kids. Unfortunately for me, all our kids have grown up--too quickly, it seems.
