Beautiful mystery today. It looks like all the shutters are closed awaiting maybe a storm.

It looks like a house that someone would write gothic novels about. I kind of like it!

Looks like it is closed--or maybe just for show. A quick puzzle to do.

Still would not wish to be there even for a visit

That house almost looks like a toy set on the ground among a bunch of rocks and the photo taken close up. It just does not loook real. Perhaps becaus the windows are all closed exactly alike with no deviation in curtain or drape colors or whatever? Whatever.

God bless you all

Maybe Barbaranne is right--there's a storm coming so the windows need to be shut tight. Doesn't look warm or cozy. More like a citadel than a cottage. I like trees around my house and while I love the ocean to look at would never want a house on it. We rented down the block from the ocean and thankfully never had trouble, but years after we left to move upstate Hurricane Sandy hit LI and the whole place was flooded. (Saw it on the news.) I'm sure the house we rented got slammed because the water and sand were washed inland way past it.
This summer we stayed on a penninsula that had tsunami route signs all along the parkway. Hmmm. Looked that one up when I got home and there was one about 300 years ago. Core soil samples show they hit there about every 500 years so we had time to enjoy ourselves. ;-)

Almost looks like a storm coming.

Doesn't look like a cottage to me either. When I was a kid we moved to a house with one bedroom. My parents and six of us kids. Turned the living room into a bedroom. Little sister slept on the sofa and big brother in the basement.
